Finding the right ring size is easier than you might think. Use our ring size guide to measure at home, and if you need to find out your partner’s ring size without them knowing, we’ve got a few tips to help.
How to measure your ring size
For a ring to fit perfectly, choosing the right size is important. You can easily measure your ring size at home using our sizeguide or a ring that already fits you well. For a more accurate measurement, we recommend using a ring sizer, which you can order free of charge further down the page.
Avoid measuring your finger when it is cold, as our fingers tend to become slimmer in colder temperatures.
Always measure your ring size in the evening, when your fingers are at their largest.
A wider ring will usually require a larger size than a narrow one.
Measure carefully, as one millimetre corresponds to a full ring size.
Remember that the ring also needs to fit over your knuckle.
Measure your partner’s ring size (in secret)
If you’re planning to surprise your partner, use one of their existing rings as a guide. Measure an old ring, or trace the inside of the ring onto a piece of paper and bring it to one of our concept stores.
Another trick is to come up with a reason for the two of you to try on different rings together – perhaps ahead of a birthday, or by saying you’re looking for a ring as a gift for someone with similar-sized hands to your partner.
There’s also the slightly cheekier trick of using a piece of string to measure their ring size while they’re asleep…
