Efva Attling Meets: Johanna Kajson
In collaboration with Johanna Kajson and her podcast Drömbröllop (“Dream Wedding”), we invited engaged couples, bridesmaids, and toastmasters to an exclusive event featuring a live podcast and mingle at our Flagship Store in Stockholm.
We also had the opportunity to interview Johanna – Sweden’s most sought-after wedding planner.
We invited the podcast “Drömbröllop with Johanna Kajson and Guests” to a wedding event at our Flagship Store on Biblioteksgatan in Stockholm on February 6th. That evening, it was Efva’s turn to be a guest on the podcast to talk about love and weddings, as well as answer the guests’ questions on the subject. It turned out to be a successful evening filled with mingling, great energy, and fun conversations. During the day, Johanna had an intensive schedule where five lucky engaged couples came for wedding consultations with her in the store. Each couple had only 45 minutes with Johanna, but she managed to give tips and advice on schedules, vendors, and fun surprises for the wedding guests.
Johanna, what is the best part of your job?
– Meeting people and helping them create their dream wedding. The most fun part is the actual meeting, as I get to meet so many different people with unique personalities. Every wedding and couple is unique, which means I get to do new things all the time.

Johanna, what’s the best part of your job?
– Meeting people and helping them bring their dream wedding to life. The most rewarding part is connecting with so many unique personalities. Every wedding is different, which keeps my work exciting and constantly fresh.
How did you think when you chose your rings together? Do rings have to match your partner’s?
– We really wanted our rings to resemble each other, which felt like a sweet and romantic idea. But today, I would choose differently – rings absolutely don’t have to match. If I were getting engaged again today, I’d make a full date out of it: book a consultation, get professional help, and then enjoy a cozy day together with a lovely lunch.
Do you have a “hack” you usually share with your clients that you’d like to share?
– I’m often asked how to thank, for example, your mom for all her support leading up to the wedding, or the toastmaster for all the time they’ve put into your big day. Here’s a great tip – give them a piece of jewelry as a thank-you gift before the wedding. I bought identical rings for my bridesmaids engraved with “Love” that they could wear during the wedding – and cherish for a lifetime.
