Let's Celebrate Balls

Balls is what you might call a true statement collection, both in its form and in the message behind the design. “The silver balls are beautiful in themselves, but if you want you can also put words to them,” says Efva. “I’ve got balls, you might think – I can handle this… I’m brave!”

“I’m a feminist, and the expression ‘I’ve got balls’ also stands for equality, such as women and men receiving equal pay for equal work. I often do this with my jewellery – it’s not just a piece of jewellery, but also a meaning and a name. That’s why I call my jewellery ‘Beauty with a thought’.”

The first pieces in the collection were launched in 2014, but the design carries clear retro influences. “The inspiration for Balls comes from the 1960s, when large silver spheres were fashionable,” Efva explains. The jewellery is beautiful worn both together and as individual pieces.

One of Efva’s personal favourites is the Balls ring. “The ring is playful, elegant and bold at the same time. It’s beautiful and makes a statement, especially if you love silver.” The collection later expanded with necklaces and earrings in different variations.
