Go chic – go chunky
We are more than happy about the fact that the hoops trend stays strong. They can be mixed and matched in endless combinations and can be worn to all kinds of events. Our spring collection is adorned with different variants of hoops – earrings for all styles and occasions.
The new collection Chunky, is Efva’s most awaited collection this spring and comes with a pair of statement hoops and a bracelet. “I’ve been waiting for the Chunky collection,” Efva says. “It’s strong and expressive. The bracelet has messages in subtle writing that I think is important. The earrings are ‘fashionable’, and the bracelet can become a necklace. If I put two bracelets together, it becomes a powerful statement collier.”
If you’re looking for a pair of smaller hoops, the new Star hoops in silver or gold may be exactly what you’re looking for. “Hoops with diamonds on both the inside and outside of the rings are probably my most worn everyday pieces.” Efva says. There are more new hoops added to some of our previous collections such as Hooked on Simone and 101 days – a collection whose message means a little extra to Efva: “I love the idea that the little ring can be someone you carry with you and think about – a friend, son, daughter or why not a cat.”
Micro gems – macro style
This spring we also see the brand-new collection Micro Blink – a collection of mini pieces, decorated with gemstones. “The collection contains neat pieces of jewellery in silver with a green emerald or pink sapphire.” Efva says. “The rings can be worn one by one, be built together and even be mixed between the different colour stones.”
Another colourful addition in a larger size, that really attracts attention, is the Dream Flash Earrings. “These earrings are perfect and fantastic with the stones' pastel colour. I feel wonderful every time I wear these earrings, when they are playfully dangling in my ears. I add that little extra to the look with the new Beam & Stars earcuff, then I'm ready for a party!” Efva says.
The SS21 collection
In addition to trendy hoops, statement pieces and colourful mini pieces, new festive cocktail rings are released. “The Shiny Memory collection is like a memory way back in time when I was an apprentice with Bengt Liljedahl after I finished ninth grade. There I learned the basics of silver- and goldsmithing. Maybe it's something about the style of Bengt's design and the spirit of the times that I brought into this particular ring.” Efva describes.
If you compare this spring collection with previous seasons, this one stands out with all the colours and its playfulness, which of course is not a coincidence. “After the pandemic's depressing and sad time, we need to feel alive! We should come back with colour and joy. Spring and summer are on the way, and hopefully, we will finally be able to be together just like before.” Efva concludes.
